Four Lady Rangers ink basketball scholarships
At least four Lady Rangers will continue their college basketball careers at the next level. Denetra Kellum signed with The University of North Texas; Ashley Ferrell and Sylvia Hoffman signed with Louisiana State University in Shreveport; and Janae Hendreson signed with The University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. Lady Rangers finish 2nd
in conference tournament
March 9--The Lady Rangers couldn't come back from a 14-point halftime defecit, losing to No. 1 seed Trinity Valley tonight, 58-46, in the championship game of the Region XIV Basketball Tournament at UT-Tyler.  TVCC will move on to play in the national tournament in Selina, Kan., March 17-21. The Lady Rangers were in the Region XIV Basketball Tournament championship game for the first time since 1997, and sophomore Denetra Kellum and freshman Danyell Oliver were named All-Tournament Team players for their dominant performance on the court.  Kellum scored 15 points versus TVCC, while Oliver added 10. Third-year head coach Roy Thomas was also named Co-Coach of the Year for Region XIV.  Kilgore finishes the season at 23-7.
