As part of our preparation for re-accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) Kilgore College invites faculty, staff, students and members of the community to recommend possible topics for a major Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) to be conducted during the next two years. The QEP committee is taking suggestions for possible topics through March 9, 2007 and invites you to record your topic ideas.
We will look at this question: "How can our policies and processes lead to higher levels of student learning?"
To make a recommendation for a topic please follow this link, which will take you to a comment form.

QEP Student Survey and Results
Stratified Random sampling was used to select a sample group that closely represents the demographic trends of the KC student population. Surveying students helps the QEP committee better understand aspects that are important to students in order for them to learn in an educational setting.

QEP Faculty Focus Group
In addition to the student survey, instructors also had the opportunity to meet together. Three faculty focus groups were conducted during Spring 2007. Two were held on the Kilgore campus and one was held on the Longview campus.
