Kilgore College Fire Protection
Tuition and Fees : Free tuition and lab fees only to currently employed certified Texas firefighters, all other fees are not exempt. Regular tuition applies to all other students.
Hours: 60 which includes Basic Fire Academy training.
Students who have completed certified commissioned academy:
Can receive 23 hours credit towards their degree and take the remaining 37 hours online
To register: Students who have never taken courses at KC will need to apply here. Returning students who have been out more than a semester will need to fill out a Student Update Form from the Office of Admissions and Records.
