Through Kilgore College Online you can earn your associate degree, start a new career as a firefighter, become a real estate inspector, or expand your education by taking one of the hundreds of credit and non-credit courses we offer online.
Distance Education (earn college credit or a complete associate degree)
New! Kilgore College Online will offer students the option to earn a COMPLETE ASSOCIATE DEGREE
taking only online courses. Beginning in fall 2007, you can begin work toward an Associate of Arts degree (AA), Associate of Science degree (AS) or Associate of Arts in Teaching degree (AAT). You can also complete the core requirements at Kilgore Online and use those credits to transfer to any Texas public college or university.
KC Online offers more than 70 credit courses. Distance Education courses cost the same as standard classroom courses. Books can be ordered online through the KC bookstore and shipped directly to you. Financial aid, including our new loan program, is available to all qualified students, including those taking online courses.
Kilgore also participates in the Virtual College of Texas (VCT). This means that almost 500 MORE online credit courses offered by community colleges all over the state are available to you. Because you register through Kilgore College, you pay low KC tuition and get KC credit.

Kilgore College, in partnership with the American Home Inspectors Training Institute, is offering an on-line Home Inspections Training program approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission. Our mission is to train you in learning every thing you will need to know to begin to either work in the home inspection industry or start-up your own home inspection business.  Online Fire Academy
Kilgore College is one of the first community colleges in the nation to offer
its Fire Academy online. All classroom work can be completed online, with only a two week skills course
required onsite.

 Judy Grotefendt, one of our Computer Science instructors, has developed a brief sample WebCT course to let you see how these courses work and find out if they are good fit for you. The sample course is free and will take just a few minutes to complete.
