Criminal Justice
Associate of Arts (AA) Degree



The criminal justice degree program is designed to provide a broad-based liberal arts education incorporating the "Core Curriculum" along with the core criminal justice courses. This program provides students with a basis in the sciences, English, math, history, government and technology.

The field of study curriculum for criminal justice applies to institutions that award the BA or BS degree with a major in criminal justice.

The following set of courses (totaling 15 semester credit hours (SCH) of fully transferable and applicable lower-division courses) and up to an additional 6 "discretionary" SCH are the field of study curriculum for criminal justice.
