Continuing Education Program
| The Continuing Education Program consists of business and industrial courses as well as self-improvement courses. Kilgore College offers courses in all occupations for which there is a known need. These non-credit, short courses are designed for improving job efficiency, increasing job skills or retraining for new careers. Self-improvement courses are designed for developing personal traits, improving one's self-image, and enriching one's leisure time. Additional information about this program is available from the Office of Continuing Education at the Kilgore campus or at the KC—Longview campus. |

DROP AND WITHDRAWAL REFUND SCHEDULE
Students may have one transfer to another continuing education course prior to the second class meeting date. Students will receive the full 100% refund if the class is canceled.

The Continuing Education courses are open to interested persons without formal admission to College. Generally, there are no entrance requirements. Course descriptions include prerequisites when appropriate.
BOOKS AND MATERIALS
Instructors will discuss materials and textbooks during the first class session. Books are available through the college bookstore located in the Student Center or at Kilgore College—Longview for Longview Classes only. Some courses listed in the class schedule do not require textbooks or supplies. Supplies and texts are not included in the course fees unless stated in the course description. Books or supplies should not be purchased until you know exactly what the instructor will require.CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEU'S)
In compliance with guidelines from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Kilgore College awards Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) to students successfully completing various noncredit courses sponsored by the college. A CEU is officially defined as "ten contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education adult or extension experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction." The student should not interpret the CEU as a substitute for college credit. The CEU is a means of recording and accounting for various continuing education activities that a student has completed.NON-DISCRIMINATION CLAUSE
