Computer Networking
 This program leads to a two-year degree or Certificate in Computer Networking. The program focuses on client/server local area networks (LAN's) and consists of classes and labs covering the following: client operating systems, server operating systems, cabling, LAN design, networking protocols and internet working. What do graduates of the program do?
 The Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS) in Computer Networking uses a hands-on approach to teach the student to install, administer and maintain a client/server local area network. Students also study networking fundamentals, the UNIX operating system, network inter connectivity between a LAN and a WAN, and the Internet. Programming languages studied include: C, C++, and Java. Graduates work as network administrators or in some other job relating to the operation and maintenance of a network.

 Depends on the location you choose to work. Locations such as Dallas or Houston, employers prefer some work experience and certifications.
Computer Networking is expanding and changing drastically, there is high demand for people in the computer world.
