Cisco Networking Courses
Kilgore College Continuing Education is offering the Cisco Networking courses beginning fall of 2009 as follows:
Fall:
Cisco 1 ITCC 1001: Exploration Network Fundamentals
Cisco 2 ITCC1004: Cisco Exploration 2 Routing Protocols & Concepts
Spring:
Cisco 3 ITCC 2008: Cisco Exploration 3 LAN Switching & Wireless
Cisco 4 ITCC 2010: WAN Technologies
These CCNA courses 1-4 are taken in sequence and provide students with a basic foundation in networking. These courses cover both the essential and the fundamental concepts in data communications. Materials covered prepare the student to develop knowledge to begin implementation of a local area network and manual skills necessary to construct a local area network. Successful completion of the courses prepares the student for certification testing. No supplies are needed and the book is provided online.
The fall courses will be held Monday thru Thursday from 8:00 -10:00 a.m. in room 205 of the Applied Technology building. Each course is 8 weeks in length and costs $200. Enrollment is limited to 15.
