(Biology)


At Kilgore College, our goal in the Biology Department is to provide the first two years of collegiate work which may lead to an associate degree.  This degree is designed for transfer to general or professional baccalaureate degree programs.


Our Purpose

To provide two semesters (8 hours) of collegiate non-majors biology; the requirements for a minimum of two semesters (8 hours) of collegiate majors-level biology;and a minimum of two semesters (8 hours) of collegiate-level biology for allied health majors. These courses all meet the requirements for the associate degree and can be transferable to a university.
