This program trains students to install, maintain, and repair equipment and accessory units for commercial, residential, and industrial usage. Students study the repair of home appliances, such as ice makers, window air conditioners, freezers, and refrigerators as well as the servicing of commercial air conditioning systems, heating systems and heat pumps.
The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Program prepares students to demonstrate skills in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration fields. The program consists of three certificates, which the student will complete in 12 months. Students may go immediately into the workplace or continue and earn an Associate of Applied Science degree. Students are required to purchase their own basic hand tools from a list made available on the first class day.

Degree— $2,910 (In-District) $5,850 (Out-of-District)
Certificates— $2,250 (In-District) $4,455 (Out-of-District)
(Tuition is payable in increments due at the beginning of each semester.)
Textbooks & tools: Approximately $2,000 for the degree and $1,600 for the certificate (Upon completion, students will have the tools necessary to begin work.)
