Agricultural and Environmental Sciences

Associate's Degree. Transfer.

Why choose Agriculture as a career?

The agriculture industry touches every American life. Changing technologies, techniques and industries open many new opportunities for agriculture graduates both on and away from the farm. As the world population increases, the need for an educated agricultural workforce increases.

Why choose Kilgore College Ag?

Kilgore College provides students with a unique mix of hands-on education with expert faculty. We believe the best way of learning is to do it. We operate a 448 acre demonstration farm with cattle, hay, fruit and vegetable crops. We employ students to help with the farm and also coordinate internships with faculty from the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center in Overton. The Ag courses at KC will transfer to a university, fulfill the science requirements for an associate’s degree and some will fulfill the requirements of the Core Curriculum. View the course syllabi.
