Reading - Developmental

Improve your reading skills.

About Developmental Reading:

Developmental Reading courses and non-course-based options are designed to assist students in improving their vocabulary and comprehension abilities to prepare them for success in college-level courses, all of which require solid reading skills.  These reading skills are integrated with writing skills in ENGL 0307 and ENGL 0309, satisfying TSI requirements for both reading and writing. Courses in Reading are offered in classroom and online formats, and they are offered during the fall, spring and summer semesters. Reading is a vital skill for lifelong learning, personal enrichment and academic and professional success.

What is the goal?

The goal of reading courses is to offer students the opportunity to develop their reading skills through practical and comprehensive approaches.
