About the program:

This is a course of study designed to train the student in all aspects of computer science. Upon completion of the computer science program, a student will be prepared to take the exam -- an industry-recognized, vendor-neutral certification for technicians who work in this field.

The Computer Science Department at Kilgore College is located in the Bonnie Porter Business Administration Building on the Kilgore campus. The college maintains three teaching labs for the computer science department. All the labs use IBM compatible personal computers, and the labs are upgraded with new equipment every three or four years. Students have access to the computer lab in the Bone Learning Center on the second floor of the Watson Library.
