ESL (Learn English)
Kilgore College offers an opportunity to learn through our English as a Second Language program. Students in this program learn how to read, write, and speak English. Regardless of your skill level or education, you can enroll in Kilgore College’s ESL classes.
Kilgore College le invita a aprender el idioma de ingles por medio de nuestro programa de ESL. Los estudiantes que toman parte en este programa aprenden a leer, escribir, y hablar ingles. No es importante su nivel o preparatorias de enseñanza. Puede matricularse en las clases de ESL. No hay costo para las clases. Se las ofrecemos GRATIS! English as a Second Language (ESL)
Classes are especially for adults seventeen years of age or older whose primary language is not English, and whose reading, writing and speaking skills are below the level to function effectively in an English literate society.
All instruction is done in English and instructional levels range from zero literacy either in English or the native language to advance level where the student has the competency of a native English speaker in two of the three areas, speaking, reading, or writing, but needs more practice in one.
Tuition and Fees
No fees are charged for the ESL classes.
Registration
Students may enroll in the ESL classes on the first class day of the month, usually a Tuesday or Thursday. Call the adult education office, (903) 753-2642 Ext.3738 or (903) 988-3738 for exact enrollment information.
