 Devall Student Center The Devall Student Center is dedicated to Charles K. and Lyde W. Devall on Sept. 25 after two years of construction. Devall, longtime publisher of the Kilgore News Herald, gave $500,000 as seed money toward construction of the center.
 'Angels in America' Theatre department makes headlines in the fall of 1999 with its production of "Angles in America, Part One: Millennium Approaches" by Tony Kushner.
